Let me know your thoughts. I was bored and gave it a shot. Sorry about the quality of the pics.

Looks good. I have redone paint fill a few times and have come to the conclusion that it is a HUGE PITA.

Still, you can take a club and really make it look sharp!

Looks good deuce!

I don't think it's a pain. I find it rather easy. I stamped my wedges and short irons and gave 'em some fingernail polish paint fill and they look good. Took no time at all.

@big Jim
It wasn't a PITA. A bit tedious only because its my club and didn't want to screw it up. But now that I kind of the gist of it, I think next time will be much easier. I went ghetto and used nail polish (maximum abrasive acrylic) Wife says its the best kind to use. It doesn't come off easily.
Sure as hell not worth spending 30.00 to get it painted.

@anonymous
Thanks! You're right, no time at all ad cost effective. That's a win win.
Stamping is my next venture

what did you use to strip the old paint off? Thats always the worst!

@bigjim
I actually didn't have to.. I was about to work on taking it off with pure acetone(must be careful, very potent)
My wife stopped me and told me that this polish will apply and grip well on existing paint. Not like other cheap nail polishes. Saved me a lot of work.

A lot of time the factory paint is really hard and brittle so you can scrape it off with a tiny flat screwdriver. The easiest way would be to use Zip-Strip though. Just make sure you wash it well after using the paint remover, before painting.

Is it a close match to your lipstick? ;)

Just kidding, it looks cool.

@mc Davis: thanks...

@irishgolfer: lmfao!!
