Golf on tv or movies?

What’s your fave?

3 stooges?

Going my way film has some golf, lots of fresh air on the golf course and profanity too!

Jeeves and Wooster is my favorite! Several episodes have golf, in one he has an adjustable iron, that would drive the rules purists nuts!

I’m not sure what the question is? And who the hell is Jeeves and Wooster?

I will watch some golf on tv. Certainly don't stay glued to it and seldom watch non-major tourneys. We have Netflix and Prime. Don't watch enough to get our money's worth, but do enjoy an occasional movie or series. Wife likes to watch KC Royals and I enjoy the Chiefs. Other than that, we watch quite a bit of political arguing on tv... or just switch to one of the music channels and spend time on our laptops.

You got prime? Have seen the automatic golf series?
Gone for the moment. Every few months we are able to get a "free 30-day trial". Just completed one of those. Watched quite a few movies until the Royals began playing. Then, the wife wanted to watch them. One of our daughters has Prime. The other daughter and her family use that log in. She has offered us to use it, but now we have to catch up on the Netflix we've delayed while watching Prime. (Yes, we're cheap!!)

Caddyshack (of course)
Tin Cup
The Legend of Bagger Vance
The Greatest Game Ever Played
Happy Gilmore

Generally will stop channel surfing if I find any of these on...particularly Caddyshack and Bagger Vance.

Don't forget Dorf on Golf. :D

According to IMDB, the Three Little Beers (Three Stooges) movie is the highest rated golf movie of all time.

I will add that Caddyshack 2 is the worst golf movie I've ever seen, however I have not seen Who's Your Caddie.

Jeeves and Wooster the adjustable iron, say good bye to heavy golf bags forever, they also use wet sand for a tee!

Baby Ruth anyone?

gold finger James Bond had some golf?
Goldfinger has a great golf scene. It was arranged so that Bond could meet Goldfinger in a social setting. Probably one of the most accurate portrayals of the rules of golf in a movie, and, of course, the introduction of body guard/caddy Odd Job.

Switched balls! Brilliant! Odd job had a hole in his pants! Goldfinger now that’s a blaggard!

There have been some great golf movies as well as some terrible ones. Caddyshack is great and so is The Legend of Bagger Vance. I also liked Tin Cup except that I've never seen anyone spin back a three wood.
