Never played the game myself. I have been involved in the past with the local JR B Team, as a Director on the Board, and the PA Announcer. Now I am just a fan.

When I was a kid, I played goal until about the 10th grade. Then I quit althogether. I took it up again in a rec league about 15 years ago and played defence.

Sorry, guys. I can't get excited about any professional sport anymore, including hockey. Too many drugs, too much money, too many strikes, too many walkouts, too many lockouts. Screw'em.

Now Olympic hockey....hell yeah. I'm right there with you.

If golf ever gets tainted the way other sports have, I'm selling my TV.

You know, I'm beginning to feel the same way. Pro sports has become big business, it's not just a game anymore. Still, I'd have a hard time turning my back on the NHL.

I used to be into hockey. We had a local team who played in the British Super League. But then, thinking they'd do so much better, the team moved to a bigger stadium, in a city an hour's drive away. Most of the fans abandoned the team, so they soon went into liquidation. I can't be bothered with hockey any more, because nobody over here plays it.

Team: Edmonton Oilers....sort of. The recent re-signings of McTavish and "I won't shoot" have me teetering..

Player: Ovechkin. The guy is just entertainment.

Least favorite team: Leafs. Center of the universe teams suck.

Least favorite player: Chris Chelios. Dirty sack of $hit.

I only Follow the Sioux! I live a couple hours away so I watch a few games a year! GO JON TOEWS!(good old french winnipeger)
