wait for a seller on Ebay to reply before filing a dispute? I bought this clubhead last sunday and paid shortly after. I figured the seller would ship Monday or Tuesday and since he listed he was going to use USPS priority mail I figured I would have it by Friday or Saturday. I had not recieved any communication from the seller and on Friday I sent an email asking if the item had shipped. I have still not heard anything. I plan on sending another email tonight but how long do I wait until contacting Ebay???

Start the process now, before the time expires. He can't post negative feedback anymore, so go after it.

that is too long-------- hit'em hard now.

I'll generally wait up to 5 days, if I haven't heard anything from them then I contact & see what's up. So far I have only had a couple of disputes, one was for an item I never received & the other was for something totally different from what I paid for. In both instances I had to contact Paypal because the sellers were being jerks about it, got my $$ back.

As it turns out I have to wait 10 days from the end of the auction to file a dispute. So I guess this guy has until Wednesday....arghh

I sell a lot of cars and automobile parts on Ebay...I contact the buyer with in 30 minutes of the auction ending.

I hate it when the buyer/seller doesnt contact me asap..........I hate it even more when the winner doesnt pay, and with their new system (cant report negative comments) its getting worse.

Keep trying to contact them every day. Use the eBay e-mail system, and keep a text file copy of eveything. Don't use your own e-mail account to send any thing. Always send yourself a copy of any e-mail you send to the other party.

Yeah I do. I have been trying to contact him as well. Turns out I can open a dispute on paypal immediately too...
