He doesn't post much anymore. I don't think we talk enough golf for his liking.

This is probably part of it, yes.
Rock get's busy this time of year playing golf while he can due to the Canadian winter. Also, he spends a lot of time with his family. When the temps drop, and snow drops, he's got more "free time" and gets here more often. He's always been very much into playing and equipment. I know he frequents another site (not sure which one) because he's commented on it before.
