July 10-11 Kentucky Golf Trip: Old Silo

The TN ShotTalk golf outing never got off the ground and we closed on the house at the beginning of May AND I want to to a golf trip so...July 10-11 Kentucky Golf Trip: Old Silo is happening!

They have a stay and play rate of $109 for 2 people, so $55 each. Hotel and all the golf you can play. Awesome!

My pops is flying into Nashville on the 9th, my buddy and I are going to pick him up and head to Mt. Sterling, KY and Old Silo Golf Club. Stay the night on the 9th, play 27 holes on the 10th. Stay the night again and play on 18-27 on the 11th and head home.

We're looking to see if anyone else in the mid south might be interested. Let me know.

I've heard a lot of good things about the course. I would like to go but, man, that's like a 4-5 hr drive for me. I just can't commit right now.

Same here, 4 hours from Nashville and 5 from home. Sack up and lets go!

It's about a fifteen minute drive for me. Won't be able to play Friday but let me know when you're gonna play Saturday and I'll meet you at the club house

Don't expect much to do. There is an Applebee's and a cattlemans steak house. It's a very small town. Lexington is probably 35 to 40 minutes from there though.

There is a good Mexican restaraunt less than a mile up the road with a bar in it. Of course Applebee's and the steak house. Avoid the downtown bars!!! Red Neck City.
