Can anyone shed some light on this 2 iron? Can't find much in google.
Need to know the make/model and if the club is a one piece or a separate shaft and head.

Looks to be two pieces but older model heads were pinned, which would be a PITA to pull.

Does the pic attached above looked like a pinned shaft?
It seems to have some sort of clamp mark around the top of the hosel which I can't help but think its part of the sealing process.

1973 Vintage Hogan Apex Irons Set 2-E Slazenger refinished repainted CLASSIC SET

Looks like the Slazengers were the Canadian version of the Hogan Apex irons. The Apex irons had pinned shafts. Drive out the pin, heat the epoxy, and you can remove the shaft from the head. I don't remember what size tips the Hogans had.

It doesn't look like there is a pin in those heads. It would almost look like a bore thru wood if there was....I could be wrong though.

Nah definitely no pin there. Will try and keep searching about them.

Here's a close up of the hosel/shaft area.
Doesn't seem like there's any use of a bonding agent between the two.
Possible it's a one piece club?

Nah, you just can't see the epoxy.

Time to set the heat gun on it and go back in 10 minutes time i guess lol.

Why not get a propane torch? Instead of 10 minutes and risking burning down your house you would be done in 2.

$100? You can get them in most hardware stores for $20.

Yeah, no way a propane torch should cost $100. I think you can get full on oxy-acetylene torch setups for that kinda money.

Of course, you are in NZ....so who knows.
