Not to be a whiny Alice, but the Shottalk Open was a great idea that fizzled at the end. No winner was announced, and I feel that all the rounds I posted were a waste of time.

I love competition as much as the next person, but only if the scoreboard is working...

I agree, and the reason I stopped posting towards the end. It seemed like measuring it in tenths of a point kind of took away.

Just my opinion, but Match play sounds fun, whether it be based on points or stroke w/handicap, stableford on overall match. It is what my wife and I do over the course of the year and keeps you interested.

Plus it leaves room for bragging rights and trash talking.

If we can figure out a way to get a every other week guy like myself in then I can offset some the west talent with my 16.5.

Hmm, guys play every week and are single digits; I play every other week (at best) and am a double digit capper. I wonder if those are related... nah! :laugh:
