one headline I saw was:  Tiger shoots birdie free 77 in DubaiShot a 77 today.
Amazing. It's just unfathomable how someone who was so dominant for so long can just all of a sudden come crashing down so hard.

LOL - Duval did not dominate like Tiger. Also, wasn't he in a car accident (that didn't involve his wife woodchopping his car with a 3 iron)?

Agreed, I think his back got all FUBAR didn't it?
Duval was #1 in the World for a while. Suddenly, lost his game. He pretty much blamed medical issues, but was having some personal issues going on also. I don't remember an auto accident.
You might be thinking of Stuart Appleby. He was at the top of the leaderboards until his wife walked out from between two cars and was killed by another. IIRC, he even witnessed her getting hit. After her untimely death, Appleby's game went south and never came back.
