I was at practice today and hit the irons of my dreams..... :wow: a kid has a set of Nike Slingshots, i asked if i could hit a few with it, so i took his 9 iron and hit it.... 150 yards no problem... and i didn't even swing hard.. i was like wow... then i took his 7 iron and hit it... 200 no problem... i love em, when i get the money thats probly what i'll be gettin... anyone else hit em before? you like em?

I personally think Nike Slingshots lick the sweat off a dead man's balls. (Stole that from Good Morning Vietnam).

I don't understand what it is, but alot of people like those Slingshots. They felt pretty ordinary to me.

But, as I've maintained, one man's trash is another man's treasure.

If you hit em', buy 'em. I won't say they suck in your hands when you're stuffing irons on tight pins.

PS>....i hit some Slingshot knock-offs last fall made by Precision Golf. They were 200 for the whole set with DG stiff shafts and they felt like a million bucks. The best set I hit that night in 3 hours of demo'ing. Quite honestly, if I lost my clubs, i'd buy those in a heartbeat. :canadafla
