New car, so much for mileage

Sweet, I'm going to get it tomorrow night. My dad wants the Honda back. He's going to take the Honda, my paypal balance of nearly $400 and then lend me $400 for the car to be paid when my tax check gets here. Easy for him, the Honda is actually still registered in his name. I gotta get this thing registered quick though to give him the plates back. Should be fun, can't wait to be cruising to the course in it.

is that why you rather have me get off on atwell ave instead of olneyville? it's okay ez, i'll still golf w/ you.

Got the car. She's looking bada$$ as all he!!. I'm trying to think of somewhere I can go, lol. I think I may go use this last driving range token. I'm going to take it easy with her for a while. I got on it in 5th and just went from around 55 up 75 and it was obvious, this thing would just move on out if I really got on it. Totally different than the Honda. It sits so low and feels like it's glued to the road, like a race car or something. I think I'll bring my cam to the range and snap a couple pics there in the parking lot since it's a lot more wide open than here.

There's a red one in the parking lot next door. Some fat, ugly, middle aged broad drives it.

Welcome to the gang, Ez! :biglol:

Ouch. Good one Rock.

I forgot to bring my cam to the range. It's a fun car, feels like a V8 under the hood and sounds like it too. Traffic moves a little faster on the highway to and from the range. This thing just idles along at 80, give a little gas, little growl and it's going 100, which feels like about 30 in 3rd with the Honda. I really can't even imagine how the VR4 model must be, that would just be too much, it would have to have a seriously upgraded braking system.

I stalled it pulling back into the parking at my house twice, seemed like a weird stall, like it just died. Had me a little worried but it started right back up OK. I have to remeber, this is a 15yr. old car. I need to treat it sort of like a semi-restored classic car. All in all I'm happy so far with it, has a few little stupid things like the power locks don't work, it doesn't exactly feel like a brand new car on bumpy pavement (suspension is all in very good shape, it's just and old car) and I still can't figure out how the heck the moonroof opens up. I think the switch is dead for it.

It's comfortable to drive, more so than the Honda for sure. Getting myself and golf clubs in and out it just a pain in the a$$ though. Gone are the days I could just toss the bag in the trunk or the backseat. Now it's and ordeal of opening the giant back hatch/trunk and folding a seat down just to fit the bag. No way I could own something like this if I wasn't single. You'd have to be a contorsionist just to get into the back seat, nevermind get out.

My girlfriend put the car on her insurance today... I couldn't believe this, $300 for the year. I still can't believe it, that is so awesome. Including is also breakdown assistance and towing, which hopefully I don't need but really good to know it's there if I ever do.

get a good kick and ask them what the VR4 version would cost :D

Reminds me, i have to call my insurance agent and figure out what this bike is going to cost to insure...

Here's a pic of the car from it's "good side"
