I think it is mostly mental. Putting takes concentration, and with the divorce he's going through now, that's probably the problem. If Elin does leave and he's a single man, I bet you he will be more focused on golf. He's not far off. I'd have to disagree with everyone who says his dominating days are over.

But I think we'll see a "new Tiger" that dominates. The new Tiger will be a better person, respecting the game more, not swearing on the course, not throwing clubs, and ultimately dominating again.

I think you're dreaming, he may get back to dominating again, who knows. But he has already shown he can't or won't stop the cursing and club throwing.

You can say you're going to do anything, and I guess if you repeat it enough, some will begin to believe it.

Lets try it, "I've invented a space ship that is going to take me to the moon, made from a 64 VW Beetle, I'm going to launch it in 3 months as soon as I accumalte enough octane booster."

Now if I repeat that enough times, some smucks are going to start to believe it, but guess what, you aren't going to be seeing any VW Beetles landing on the moon any time soon,

I haven't seen him throw any clubs this year. Actually, people always made a big deal out of it anyway. "Hitting" a club into the ground and "dropping" it on the follow through isn't the same as "throwing" a club. And the worst word I've heard him say this year was "dammit", and I don't find that to be a big deal.

Can you see into the future? You can believe what you want to believe, but you have no reason to believe it. If we could see into the future, we could have saved thousands of lives on 9/11.

LOL, take your head out of the sand and in 2 minutes you can find 50 vids on youtube proving otherwise. Numerous F bombs and club chucking for all to see.

The best indicator of future behavior is past behavior. In the past Tiger was a douchebag, in the future he will most likely continue to be a douchebag.

I think you are all way too quick to write him off. I watched a lot of the British Open and his swing was great. He played great on day one and day two. On day two Tiger and everyone else who played in the afternoon got screwed by the wind. I forget the difference in the scoring average of the field before and after the delay but it was rediculous like 4 or 7 strokes. That's just the luck of the draw. Other than that he just needed to tighten up his putting and he is right there in the mix on Sunday. Regardless OOOOOstHOOOOOzen had a week where I don't think anybody was going to catch him.

Don't waste your breath trying to persuade the tiger haters to get on board the tiger band wagon...it won't happen. Ever.

I'm not a Tiger hater, not a Tiger lover either. Until I see something that indicates he's the best player in the world - today not 2 years ago, he'll continue to be a pretty good golfer that can finish in the top 25 in a major.

Couldn't find anything. Not to mention I've watched every round of Tiger playing golf this year, haven't seen any club throwing.

You are correct. But it's the name-calling, inappropriate comments made by Tiger haters that I just will not accept. Everything else is fine.

ELCTW, give it up man. Arguing about TW is a never ending, on going battle. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Don't get so uptight.

Only time will tell what the future holds for TW. I know one thing, he wants nothing more than to beat Jacks record and become the greatest golfer ever to play the game. TW has the plenty of talent and more determination than anyone I ever seen, to do that. I think the only way he doesn't beat Jack's record is if he has a career ending injury...which could very well happen.
