I got stung by a bee once, painful as ****.

It hurt for a few minutes, yeah. Now it's really itchy and swollen. It's on the bottom of my elbow right where I set it down on the table. Repeatedly.

So the bee knew that was your beer drinking elbow? I like this bee more and more...

I'm playing at http://www.cambridgegc.com/course/ on Sunday. I just booked our tee time and it only cost me $27 per person. It's a fun course and not overly difficult. They call it a links course but I think IrishGolfer would laugh at that. It measures 7200 from the tips, with a course rating of 75.4, par is 72. I'm going to play at 6700 yards and it's a lot easier from those tees. Wide fairways and the greens are pretty tame. I can't wait, I haven't played there since last fall.

Man, I wish we had courses around here like that.

That is badass, jealous!

If I get to play this weekend, I'm taking my 10 year old to a little goat track par 3: The Course

After 105 it all feels the same. Like liquid magma.

There is some truth to that. I remember about 10 years ago when it hit 123°. Absolutely unbearable.

The week I moved out of Vegas it was 124. I had locked my keys in my truck and could go out to try to unlock it with a hanger for about 5 minutes at a time. Those were the most miserable conditions I have ever experienced.

Today we're supposed to hit 79 and I don't even like that.

EDIT: That was 10 years ago. So we're talking about the same heat wave.
