It appears the PGA Tour is contradicting its initial statements about the reason for the FedEx Cup. When the FEC first was announced one of the ancillary reasons mentioned was the effect of the commencement of the NFL season. Allegedly, everyone forgets about golf from the first kick off of the pigskin.

Now for some reason, the wrap around season is not affected by the NFL ...
