One time I hit 2 tee shots OB on a par 5, found the fairway with the 3rd, then hit the green and made the putt for a triple. Best triple of my life. Another time I hit my tee shot in the water on a par 5, dropped and had 270 yards uphill to the green. There were guys on the green but I didn't think I could reach so I decided to go. I flew it on the green and rolled it to about 10'. (That was the single best shot with 3w I have ever hit.) I went and apologized for nearly killing the guys on the green then made the putt for birdie. Someday I hope to figure out how to do it without penalty strokes.
