Daughter-in-law having a rough time. The high school she graduated from is being used as an evacuee shelter. They were married on Wrightsville Beach, close to Wilmington, NC. She and our son are currently stationed in SE Kentucky. She feels pretty helpless sitting there watching the hurricane headed towards areas where she has family and friends.

No evac orders yet. We're far enough inland that we should be able to ride her out at home. We offered up some space to the evac'd employees of SWMBOs company in VA Beach, so we may have guests.

Let's attempt to follow this... as it reads. Tea had a "thing/fling" with Glark's wife. Evidently, during that experience she let it be known that MC needs a shower. For the lurkers who have no idea the history of sarcasm that keeps the Shot Talk "family" going, they are thinking we are a community of swingers.

To clarify: I take showers WITH Glark's wife...frequently...and we drop the soap.

I'll be at my house (South of Raleigh, center of NC) watching the storm through the windows. New track has it landing around Myrtle Beach, SC, and our beach house is at North Myrtle...between Myrtle and Wilmington (the original landing area). As soon as I can, I will leave home and head to the coast to assess any damage for my parents. Already told mom they are not going down, I will.

I've been through this a few times in life, and every time we've had a family beach house to worry about. Yes, I'm concerned, but it's not a scary thing anymore. Shoot, I'm just hoping it times out so I can sit on the front porch with a cigar and some bourbon for part of it without getting soaked!
