A couple brief questions

I finally learned that my Heavenwood has a .350 hozel diameter.

1) can you still use a shim and put a .335 shaft in? or is it a mandatory .350 with bore-thru heads?

2) can anyone give any feedback on the Grafalloy Comp NT Hybrid shaft? Its a little lighter than I would think I would like for a Hybrid shaft (only 63 grams or so) but the driver shaft has gotten some raving reviews here and I'm contemplating giving one a go. especially if the .335 shaft I had lined up for it won't work.

You can put a .335" in there, you just need to make sure that you get a .335" Callaway hosel adaptor, the sleeve will go further down into the head so that the shaft will fit tightly. I have put a lot of .335" shafts into Cally heads using the adaptor from the Golfworks.

another question or two.

I was examining my clubs after cleaning them and found something odd. my 14* HW is shorter than my 18* Precept hybrid! the HW is 41.75" and the Precept came out 1/4-1/2" longer

is the HW too short, or the Precept too long? this would come to explain why I crush the Precept the way I do....its near 3 wood length!

my 3 iron is 39.25" and my driver is 45", what length should the two hybrids be at? I could stand to loose maybe 5-10 yards off the Precept so that my distance gaps aren't overlapping, or I could try to squeeze more out of the HW with a livelier shaft.


suggestions please!!!

I looked at the Precept when I was shopping for an 18-19* hybrid and the first thing I noticed about the Precept was that its shaft was considerably longer. It seemed to want to play a lot more like a wood than an iron.
