However, on Saturday morning, in front of a far smaller and more sober crowd, Mickelson displayed the short-game wizardry that's made him a legend. With no view of the pin, Mickelson pitched the ball over the tent and hit the green, stopping the ball about 20 feet from the pin. He missed the birdie try but had a tap-in for an all-world par.
