Belly Putter Experiment

So I was putting around today with A 37" Ping Anser2, I used it like a belly putter, except the end of the club was anchored just above the waistline of my pants. The stroke felt effortless, this putter was stupid easy to keep a pendulum stroke.

Its my old putter from a few years ago, so its not really doing anything useful. I was thinking of buying a shaft extension and a long grip to put on it so It could be anchored just above my belly button. Would the whole shaft extension thing work.

Just pull the shaft (or have a shop do it) and put a belly shaft and grip on it. It should probably cost you about $25-30 max and if you want to go back to the old shaft and grip it will be real easy to do.

That's what I'd do anyway.
