Well folks, after reading and re-reading all the replies I received from my
"Need Advice..." thread, I finally got to go to 'Dicks' and spend a little $$$.
I couldn't get the exact degree clubs that you all so graciously advised, but I got pretty close.

After hitting the Cobra Baffler-DWS hybrids at the golf show, I was hooked!
(needless to say how I hit them on the course will be the real test!):biglol:

Here's what I ended up with...
(all Cobras')
#3-20*hybrid.
#4-23*hybrid.
#3-15.5*m-speed f/w.
All graphite shafts, reg. flex.

I realize that my club selection may be slightly different than what some of you had suggested.
But I kept it as close as I could.

Thanks again to you all for taking the time to give me such great advice!!!:thumbs up:

Now here's hoping I can hit the damn things!!!!!!!

what shafts you got in them?

congrats! get out there!

Hybrids- Aldila HL-65. reg. flex, mid-kick, 65g.

#3 Wood- Aldila NV-m, reg. flex, low kick, 50g.
(Golf Pride-Cobra grips.)

That's all they had in the rack.

I probably wouldn't know the difference anyway!!!!

How'd I do????

congrats! get out there!
Thank you, my friend.
Hoping to play next Saturday.
The first part of the week is supposed to be cold and wet.
Then warming (?) a little and dry, 51*
It would seem that "Old Man Winter" isn't quite done with us up here in the northeast just yet, we'll see.
But I can't wait to play again,
or at least get out on the range and practice!!!

Damn, it's just getting started in VT

Sounds like you got some good clubs there for "that's what they had on the rack". That's exactly what you'll need to get a little more ballspeed and get the ball up in the air. I think you are going to see a big difference in your game once you get used to those clubs. Those long par 4's won't seem so scary when you know you have a club to reach that you can get up in the air easily. Good job. Let us know how it goes.
