Gents,

Happy Thanksgiving. I'm sure all of you will be jealous when I've had two huge Turkey dinners (Sunday and Monday) when all of you have to wait for yours. :yellow:

Jealous? You're jealous...... :)

And to all of those that don't celebrate Thanksgiving, you're missing out. When I win the lottery, everyone is invited to my house for a Turkey dinner to celebrate "Thanks Giving".

Cheers,

Stonecutters episode of the Simpsons - nice one :p

I accept your invitation in advance

:D

Sure do. I'll bring in some beers: guiness, leffe, adelscott, heineken....

I ate some chicken today, that's as good as it gets for turkey.

Happy Thanksgiving Rock

Happy Thanksgiving Rock. Invitation accepted too. I'm really looking forward to our holiday. Our youngest hasn't been home since the second week of school so I'm looking forward to the visit. It's also the only time of year I let myself indulge by making my grandmother's dumplings. I know it sounds wierd for Thanksgiving but they're great.

Happy Turkey Day, Rock.

There better have been a slice of cranberry sauce eaten in my honor...mmmm.

I've always dreamed of a fine turkey basted with maple leaf sauce...... :puke:

A fine Canadian bird covered in slices of fresh maple bacon and generous amounts of stuffing, plus some potatoes and gravy, maybe some fresh garden carrots and corn, cran sauce (sorry Buddha, the Cran and I don't see eye to eye....), fresh buns and smooth wine.

Welcome to the Canadian Thanksgiving.

Last night was sweet. Tonight, Dad didn't think a 22lb bird was enough, so he's making a ham on the bone too. Cripes, i'm gonna be up 15 lbs after the weekend.

Like I said, everyone is invited. But, i'll ask that everyone bring an appetizer and something to drink, whether it be wine or a nice sippin' drink for afterwards.

Oh, and at about 10:30, the bird comes back out of the fridge with the leftover buns, it's all about the turkey bunwich at 10:30!

The bunwich complete with some leftover stuffing & gravy is the best.

You gotta love the smiley with 'uke' beside it. It seems to fit most occasions.
