Hello from S.E. Missouri

This looks like a very fun site. A friend turned me on to ShotTalk a few days ago, and I must say I'm impressed.

I hail from a small town in S.E. Missouri named Farmington its about 65 miles South of St. Louis.

I'm in my late 30's and have only been playing golf for about 2 years. I still have much to learn but I can see myself coming along. I shoot par for the first time a couple weeks ago and now you can keep me off the course.

I am looking forword too meeting all of you and sharing some good times.

welcome! Im about 30 miles west of st. louis! I know right where farmington is.

No I don't know what my true handicap is. I should have said when I shot that one par game it was on a short 9 hole course not 18. If I had to guess I would say my handicap is around an 8. But thank you for your kind words.
