Is GolfSites spp suitable for golf beginner?

I downloaded the iPhone golf app for trial, it is very attractive. Because it has beautiful screenshot, GPS function and good customer support.

However, GolfSites is USD16.99, because I do not always play the golf, is that really suitable and useful for golf beginner??
