Range finder, need one?

I'm a laser guy. Some of the distances I want to know simply aren't on the GPS systems. Some hill in the fairway, some tree way out yonder, etc.

The new Garmin unit looks excellent though...

Ah, geez silver, figured u were gonna try to sell me one, LOL, jk (inside joke ppl, haha). Anyhow yea i'll keep my eye out for one at a good deal. Don't know if i wanna spend the loot on that right now. I got a small overnighter (36 hole) golf trip comin up beginning of may thats gonna run me bout 200, and i got a bachelor party comin up too, by time i get through that day, probably cost me 100-130, lol. Thanks for the insight tho. I guess i assumed they actually used a range finder to or something to set the yardage markers on the course to center of the green. Obviously the only chance it is accurate is if the pin was dead center and i was hitting off the yard marker, but I can adjust...honestly not THAT good to put a 150yrd shot within 10-15 feet most the time anyhow, more lookin to hit the green period.
