I just purchased in the past month some TaylorMade products which total $1200 retail and at clearance prices I was able to get them for $520...! So, if I ran out and bought these clubs they would have cost me an arm and a leg. I was patient and waited for the reviews to come in and once the new stuff came out this year forced the prices to come down on said clubs. Here is what I got, how much I paid, and where I got it...

TM Burner 2.0 Irons 4-aw. Retail= $699.00----- Sale Price= $299.00 GolfSmith
TM Burner Super Fast 2.0 Driver 10.5 Retail= $299.00 ------- Sale Price= $129.00 Golf Galaxy
TM FCT Rescue R11 Hybrid 3 Retail= $159.00----- Sale Price= $89.00 GolfSmith

So if you wait awhile and have the patience to stick it out with your older clubs you can really hit a value and golf smarter and cheaper. I think you see the reviews come in and make the decision to stay with your older clubs or move to the new clubs. Just an fYI for those of you who are trying to save some money. I will be hitting the range and seeing what my distances are with these clubs and give a review on how they are. Hope this helps.

I haven't bought a new club in years. I tend to buy lightly used last years models or even older at about 80% off retail.
