I'm deluding myself that I'm going to get 10 more yards. Going to order up a special shaft as well. I have a"friend" who might just do me a special favor on one. Let's see. Off to Philly next week to pick it up!
    You're right...you're going to get 11 more yards. :D

The Cobra King F9 driver and a Ping G400 3 wood. Both are money! So much longer than their predecessors.

    17 yards longer?

Sorta. It started out that I wasn’t looking for a new driver. I have a club fitter that I really trust. He has track man, the high end shafts and all of the associated fitting gear.

I arranged a session on trackman to compare my driver against some new season heads. I was cynical that there’d be much difference.

The testing didn’t take too long. The Cobra F9 was much superior to the Fly Z plus by the numbers. Apparently the smash factor of 1.5 was a big indicator. The spin rate of 2,200 was excellent.

Here’s a picture picture I took of one of the trackman readouts. Standard yellow range balls were used.

I got mine back from the US, and my son has promptly put it in his bag! He's played two with it and says he is pounding it!! I might need to buy another. I haven't tried it yet.

    Cobra King F9?

Scored an old Bullseye. Cost me $3 and $12 to ship!!
Rolling it in my hotel room, feels awesome. 33” , original leather grip. Gotta love old skool puttas!
Fella joined us last week. He had played an old Anser for years. Instead of that, he showed up with a Bullseye. Couldn't miss!! Made impossible putts! I asked him why the change. He said someone wanted the Anser so he sold it. He had this Bullseye in his camper. Used it for fishing things out of the storage compartments. He could reach back in and "hook" items. Said as well as he putted with it, doubt it will go back to being a "hooker"!!!!

Picked up a Callaway V-Series, 10.5 degree driver. And, a Callaway Big Bertha Alpha 815, 10.5 degree driver. Both in excellent shape. Have had a love/hate relationship with the G400. Anxious to try these "new/old" drivers tomorrow. I had one of the Alpha 815's a few years ago. IIRC, got along with it okay. Just 'needed' something newer.

I’m drooling over these. I’m a huge Hogan fan and have missed their clubs for awhile. These look like just what I’ve been looking for!!

I have Hogan on Twitter. They really impress me. The "old" Hogan made some remarkable forgings. Then they seemed to unravel. The "new" Hogan is putting out some impressive equipment!!
