Got a new shaft from the seller. This time he put the small tube into a bigger tube and the postal guys couldn't manage to crush it.
Given the opportunity, I am sure they could find a way to crush it, again. They’ve got mad skills in that department.

So disappointing. When I saw "crush it" in a post, I felt sure someone was talking about my 78 mph driver swing speed!

I got a few sleeves of these.

I am very impressed. Long off the tee, soft for irons and spinny around the green. Nice feel off the putter. This is my new favorite ball!

After watching all these guys with their arm lock putters I've decided to build one. You have to have a putter head with 7° loft instead of 3° and finally found one. I can build it for $80 which is a whole lot cheaper then buying an OEM one. If I don't like it someone will take it off my hands.

I'm proud to announce I'm beginning my second month without buying a club (or clubs). My bag is set for the foreseeable future. I did order some gloves from Dick's with my Father's Day gift cards, but that's it. We'll see how long I can go.

Well you may as well leave ST now. It's full of Club Hos and addicts. We'll be sure to tempt you. YOU MUST RESIST!

Well, I have to admit that since I've had so much success with my Ping G400 driver, I've been checking out the three and five fairway woods. Actually, they're hard to find so I'm safe for now. However, like the rest of you I'm still a recovering equipment junkie.

I recently bought a Cobra F9 hybrid (19 degrees) with an Fuji Atmos shaft. I've had a Cobra Hybrid in my bag for the last ~15 years and it is my "go to" club, fitted with a Graman Limey shaft (remember them??). I get a nice low piercing flight with it, but struggle to get any height from it. I can take it from 175-225 yards and it is great out of an assortment of lies. I looked at the Cobra F9 reviews and I was attracted to the two rails on the sole, and the comments that it helped get the ball airborne.

I had some "holiday money" so I thought WTH. I got it a few days ago and tried it at the range but the initial results were not encouraging, but given that I couldn't hit the side of a barn that night with anything I reserved my judgment.

I was out last night for a few holes and hit the F9 about 6 times. It feels very solid, plenty long and flights about 5-10 yards higher than the old club. The jury is still out but it feels lovely.

It comes with a lovely F9 headcover, I now have a hybrid to match my driver. My TM M6 3 wood is getting nervous.

I bought an F9 tour fairway and it was delivered the day after I hurt my back. I opened the box but it still has the plastic on the head. I ordered it with the Fuji atmos as well. I really like the look and feel, just need my back to get better.

Since I bought it new it came with a deal to get Arrcos sensors for $20 so I ordered those too. Again still in the box.

I’ll be curious to hear how this works for you!

Or we could bend it to 7 degrees... I have the machine's
