Nothing wrong with 84s!

Back to back 84’s to start the Canadian golf season off… I’m not complaining, felt like I was hitting the ball well. Need the putter to heat up!!

Ha! I had back-to-back 85's my last two rounds. I finally feel like I am gaining ground on lower scores!

Well, the Lefties lost to an 84 from the right handers!! My partner and I fell apart down the stretch, we had them too, after a great front 9 comeback! Tried out the newest simulator place in town, it was actually super cool!! The entire hitting platform moves to match lies you find on the course. The ball return/teeing system was pretty handy, but as usual the putting was our biggest complaint.

We have vowed our revenge, haha!!

The revenge was oh so sweet!! The lefties fired a smooth 80 yesterday afternoon, to hand the righties the deserved loss. This time anyway! Great time had by all!!!

Played what will hopefully be our last simulator round yesterday. Happy with how I played, shot 80, which was pretty good. Driver felt really good and hit some really good mid-short irons. My work with the wedges has started paying off as well. Was money from 70-105yds.

The putting tho… OH the putting… Told my playing partner after the round over a beer, that we both got robbed on so many putts. Half a dozen each at least! On the simulator we played they give you a suggested putting line (very similar to the TW games of the past!!) anyway, know I shouldn’t be getting this worked up over it, but its bugging me! LOL We both hit the line on many occasions for the ball to track right down the line looking great and then something happens and it just missed. I had one that on the screen it looked IN the hole, but it like just hovered there!

Sorry folks thats my rant. I still had fun, will go back again when the snow flies. but now I’m ready for some real golf!! the members have been very happy so far, makes me wanna get out there too!

I believe the one place that we go is GSPro yes. The newer place in town that we tried a few times, I’d be lying to you if I said I knew what software was used.

Shot a rather unimpressive 74 this afternoon, two-person scramble for a good cause locally. My partner and I played well, just couldn’t do anything special!! This tournament is always such a good time, this year did not disappoint!! Had my name on a closest to the hole on 7 for a little bit. It didn’t hold up!
