What ya want?

I'm not laughing at him. I've been talking to him about building his own computer for some time now. I love the little guy. He's a Scout, gets straight A's and has been accepted into the advanced placement program at high school. It's the classic Nintendo system that has me in giggles. He likes playing the classic video games.
If you have a Wii and an SD card, you can mod it into an emulator and play all the old school games you can handle. My son and I were playing Donkey Kong and Defender last night.

There's nothing quite like throwing the cartridge into the NES, pushing it down, closing the lid, hitting the power button, seeing the blinking screen, open the lid, press down, pull out, blow into the cardtridge, put in, press down, close lid, press power button, see blinking screen, throw rectangular controller across the room, rip the cover off the console, rip the cartridge out of the console, throw that across the room, rip the console off the entertainment center and throw that across the room...

jeez...I can remember the glow of vaccuum tubes on my first Harmon Kardon stereo amp. That mellow smooth sound.
Sniff'

The anger is strong in this one.

Haha! You know you can fit every game Nintendo/Atari/Sega/Colecovision/Intellivision/etc. ever made... on a single SD card. :geek:

Also, I can't believe kids are asking for 2DS systems.

Just reminiscing a bit. Actually, I still have my NES, SNES, N64 consoles and games somewhere...I think...although the wife probably threw them away since I haven't touched them in a while...

I jumped ship after the N64 and went to Xbox 360, now i'm getting off the console bandwagon all together and going to PC gaming.

There is a guy selling new in the box NES on Amazon for $1000.00

lolwut? Bad thing is, someone will actually buy it.
Probably being NIB. Just having the box for the NES is huge...very few of them left.

If this one is in fact brand new never used in a like new box...it's probably worth more than a G to some people...
