Vintage golf play

Thanks to subsonic, I just scored a NEW (old stock) set of Wilson Blue Ridge Sam Snead short set 3, 5, 7, 9, P. My vintage bag is close to set - need a wedge or 2. I had this very set in the 70's - they were my first new set of clubs. :D

You need to order another set papaD.

I had to pull the trigger on those NOS Wilsons.

Guys, what's your definition of vintage? I assumed hickory stuff.

Woods must be made of wood - persimmon or laminates ok. No hybrids allowed. Irons must be forged and pre 1980 release. Ruled out my PING Eye 2, dammit. Putter has to be pre-anser style. Modern era golf balls are in.

Only "vintage" clubs I'd bag at this point are my boys Big Bertha's or the almighty Ping I3 blades. I've had like 3 sets of those over the last few years...or the Eye 2's.

The Eye 2 irons would be cheating............they're too good.
