My wedge setup is a little different - I didn't realize you guys called a 54 degree wedge a GW

GW for me is 52 degrees so I can hit that 120.
SW is 56 and that is 0-100
LW is for bunker play and lob shots only

I call my 54* my SW, just a strong SW if you ask me. I'm with you, I always thought a GW was around 50*. With so many lofts available these days, I just refer to the loft. It gets too confusing....PW, AW, GW, SW, LW, HLW...I think these names should be retired like the Mashie and Niblick.
