When we were dating, circa 1965/1966, I was working part time for a floral company to pay my way through college. So, she got roses... which I got free. Spoiled her. She expected the same, even after we'd been married a few years and the floral job was long gone.
Our middle girl was born on Valentine's Day, 1976. From that time on, she sorta stole the show on February 14th. So, the past few years, I just get her a card. May not even do that this year. Sheesh! Have you priced cards at the store lately?? Pretty simply Hallmark cards are well over $5!!! I could go to WalMart and pick her up some new dishrags or a new broom for that!!!!
