They all seem a bit fit, or is it me?

Uhh there all Korean. Hard to get fat on rice and lettuce.

Normally, its rice and cabbage. And yes, not much obesity in Korea. They're just too poor.

Its nice to see ALL of the Korean athletes having a chance at greatness. But I've never seen such a migration towards the top like I have out of the Korean women golfers. Yay rah!

Park must be a common name in Korea or maybe its just a coincidense that it seems like they all have the same last name.

really?

i believe there about 40% of Korean last name Kim and about 30% or so are Park. and no... we are not related. ;)

There was one playing yesterday, don't recall her name & she was a porker.

Yeah there was one, not sure what her name was but she sure was a porker. we have a big Asian community down here in SoCal and I work with quite a bit and all they eat is rice everyday. Nothing against that, I know I couldnt eat rice every damn day.

I basically go by what I've learned from my mother and sister (both of which are Korean, dad was stationed there in the army). I'm sure times have changed, but generally speaking, averagely speaking, Korea is a poor country. I hope to visit at some point. . .a whole family of relatives I've never met.

I would say Kim and Park are like Smith and Brown here.

I bet you could if you grew up with it.

Think about it, do you go a meal without eating some sort of bread product? I know I don't.

Korea would beat both the US and Canada in an LPGA wet t-shirt competition, it would a walk-over

korea was a poor country (might still be poor i don't know), but not that poor that they can only afford to eat rice. their consumer technology is 2 years ahead of us. for example, all the cell phones that are coming out right now (for samsung and LG) been out for approx 2years. now we're getting turn by turn GPS navigation w/ our cell phones, koreans been using them for quite sometimes.

i can't eat rice every either. i think i eat rice once a week at the most. it's good old burgers and beers for me.

i do remember one korean girl who was a porker, but she was americanized.

i don't think koreans will win LPGA wet t-shirt contest... i have bigger chest... so i would win.. :D

Lee is also a very common korean last name.

Mine is not so common, Chung.

I was in korea about a year ago for my cousin's wedding. It seemed like there was no middle class in Korean. Either you are very rish or very poor.

But to answer your question about korean girls.

Yes, they are heavy, but for the most part, only up through the end of high school.

In korea, girls in junior high school and high school do nothing but go to school, go home, study, eat dinner and go staudy some more. That's how they gain so much weight.

Once they get admitted into college which is a very big thing in korea as it is very expensive, they are all set. This is when they start getting into fashion and conscious about how they look. They all lose weight, get surgery on their eyelids, wear makeup, etc...

On a side note, just in case you were wondering why there were so many korean players on the LPGA and not on the PGA. Korean boys graduate high school and need to serve about 2-3 years in the military which sets them back in terms of developing skills needed to succeed as a professional golfer.

having been born here in the states, I agree with Twofast, I can't eat rice on a daily basis.

When I was in korea, I was craving a burger sooooo bad. Whoppers in korea don't taste the same as they do in the states.
