How do you carry your bag?

Does it hang to the small of your back, your hips, lower, higher?

Does the club head side sit higher than the butt end side or are they level?

I bought a new bag (sun mountain superlight 3.5) and I can never get a new bag set up comfortably it seems.

club head end higher
across the bottom middle of back using schling

When I walked I would always carry a bag so it was in the small of my back with the clubheads above the butt of the shaft at maybe a 15* angle or enough to assure the clubs did not begin to slide out.

For me I would keep the left side so it was in the groove between my left butt cheek and the roll of fat in my back to be real technical. May be harder to find if you don't have that roll of fat.

Then just adjust the clubhead side slightly above. This kept the bag from bouncing around to much.

Mine hangs at hip height & I keep the club heads up. I have the backpack type strap but never use it, just throw one strap over my right shoulder & it seems to work fine.

I have used the backpack setup to carry the bag when I ride my motorcycle to the course, cover the club heads with the snap on rain cover & it's stable up to 80+ mph.

I tend to carry so that the bag hangs in the small of my back, also I try to make sure that the heads are slightly higher than the butt end of the bag, otherwise I have had clubs fall out...

Mid-lower back carry.

Club ends sitting higher, if for no other reason, I rest my arm there.

I carry it for a shorter walk on my right shoulder. When walking to a tee shot I use it on my back most of the time. Club head end is higher than bottom of bag and it is basically on my butt. Clubs don't rattle and it's never seemed heavy or uncomfortable. One thing I can say for the Vaporlite, easy to carry. I had to bend the legs a bit though. When I first got it, it tipped over a lot.

Ogio Grom II.

Carry across the back, basically resting on my bum. Hangs almost horizontal, with club end barely higher. I hate it. I can't get the thing to hang high enough, or with the club end high enough. It starts to chaff my butt/ lower back. I love how Ogio bags look, but between this and the stupid legs that barely retract, causing me to trip on them occasionally, I will be looking elsewhere for my next bag. The Torq strap is great, though.

Ping Hoofer, and like Wi-Golfer, I only ever use the single strap on the right shoulder. I also carry them backwards, with the heads in back. The backpack strap deals never made any sense to me... I guess I don't hit it far enough.

Did this happen after using it a while or right away though? Mine are starting to do this, I almost tripped last round. That was 1 reason I got rid of my old Mizuno bag. I tripped and fell on my face when the bag legs got caught between mine. I'm thinking of maybe looking into a Titleist bag rather than the Vaporlite again. I also love the back strap. The Mizuno was like putting on a straightjacket. The Ogio is very easy to get on and like nothing is there on my back.

Hello Lyle

Could you check your PM's, as I have a couple of TLT questions before I build my set, thanks...Garry

I carry it as high as the strap will allow with the club head side slightly higher.

Throw it on your 3-wheel Clicgear cart and push the damn thing! Much, much easier on your body.;)
