What did you buy today?

My irons are that old... or older. Age has nothing to do with iron playability. Put 'em in the bag. Play 'em until you really get used to them. Learn each one's pesonality. They will give you many years of enjoyment.
We're making our first trip to Ft. Campbell in a couple of weeks. Once we see how the kids are settled in, we'll be making some more trips that way over the next few years. I still want to get together, one of those times, and I expect to see those Zing 2's!!!!!
Sounds good, drop me a line when you get out this way!

As an added surprise(it wasn't in the eBay listing) the seller sent the 61* matching LW, so after I get the strong LW built I will have the full set of wedges and complete matching set of 4-LW with PX 5.5's. Effing stoked!!!

The Zing 2 lob wedge is an animal. Very little effective bounce. Open it just a little and it looks like you could spin a ball right up your left nostril with it. Perfect for soft lofting a ball over a greenside sand trap and seeing it sit right next to the flag. The S3 has quite a bit more bounce and is more suited for soft sand or short shots from lush fairways. Each has its place and each will excell once you get to know where each best performs.
