Short game is finally starting to come together

Today was the first nice day that we've had (except for the 20+ mph winds) since I bought my wedges so I stopped by after work at my club to try them out on something other than the carpet in my living room. WOW! What a difference purpose built clubs make. I started close to the green and moved back in about 10 yd increments at various spots until I was able to hit within a 10 ft circle consistantly. It was just about dark so I decided to try from about 40 yds out with about a 20-25 mph cross wind blowing before calling it quits. My first shot had the distance but was 20 ft to the right. Second shot had the line but was about 15 ft too short. Below was my 3rd shot.

It's shots like that which push me to get better.
