The M2 tends to show up on the net as a good forgiving driver.
But of course it goes against the grain of getting the most newest thing out there .
I’m tempted to ho one, and a fairway in the family as well .
I could be mistaken but I think Academy sells these.

I have an M2 and have had it for 3 years. One of the longest and most consistent drivers I’ve used. It’s not going anywhere anytime soon.

The $108 cobra SZ 5 wood is working out well !
Got a fair number of good looking hits off the grass today.
Maybe it’s time to retire my super old cobra speed LD draw offset 3 wood if I find another deal like this one.

Where is the report on those new PGX ?? :D
I've only played 5 rounds here in the frozen tundra, and only 2 with the PXGs. But from what I've found so far, they are really great. Put two shots from 140+ yards out right on the hole, 2 feet away. The feel is fantastic, and I've gained back 10 yards per club that I've lost the last few years due to old age.

Soooooo, since I put the MP29s back in the bag (4-pw), the Cleveland wedges just felt to light, so I put the Vokeys back in (54, 58), but that leaves a gap from PW to 54..... So last night I ordered a Vokey 50 and another steelfiber shaft. I'll be leaving for Fl. tomorrow for a week, so they should be here when I get back. I'll get to "tinker" and build my new wedge, do a little testing, and go play. I'm not playing great yet this year. A few decent rounds, but a lot of big numbers. Granted it's early and the weather has not been very good (upper 30's-mid 60's) with rain and A LOT OF WIND. I have no concern that I wont be back in the low 70's soon, but how do you guys accept these scores in the mid to upper 80s and dare I say it 90-100 or more? Got to one point in an early round, I thought about drinking again... Maybe the next thing I should buy is some lessons. Anybody know a good instructor around here?

After the downfall of Golfsmith (corporate buyout, shift away from component clubs, and eventual bankruptcy) and Tom Wishon leaving the component business I turned to OEM golf clubs. The only downside to the OEM purchases was the lack of satisfaction and customization of the build process. So...

I purchased two Geek Golf driver heads today. A Failsafe 3 in 10.5 degrees and Dot Com This 551 in 12 degrees.

The Failsafe 3 is a more forgiving head with more of a traditional launch profile. Should be more of an accuracy driver which will probably be the driver more likely to end up in my bag.

The Dot Com This 551’s heritage lies in the Long Drive world of golf. It is a low launching/low spinning head designed for ultimate distance. This version (551) has a non conforming COR for even more distance opportunity. I played the original Dot Com This in 9 degrees and it was an extremely low launching head. As I now prefer a 10.5 deg driver, I decided to go up to 12 deg for this go around.

Project X Evenflow Blues in 5.5 ordered for the shafts, but I have a few shafts lying around the garage I may experiment with as well. Once I get them built up and tested, I will probably buy a duplicate of the winner to send down to my Florida bag. Although, if the Dot Com This wins, I will have to buy a conforming version for the Florida bag in the event my father decides to inherit it as his new driver. He maintains a handicap and plays in leagues and tournaments so I would not want him to get a rep for rocking an illegal driver. ;)

I just ordered a set of 921 tours, and a set of 919 hot metals, and a set of t300. probably not gonna play any of them, and just sell em. Great price on em.

Some of the stuff has arrived. Geek Dot Com This 12.0 *head, Geek Failsafe 3 10.5* head, apparently a bonus gift Geek DCT 3-Wood head, a couple dozen of the Srixon Q Star Tour divides, some weights for my Odyssey 2-Ball Triple Track, and a Ping Sigma 2 Fetch.
