It is adjustable. Adjustability is overrated anyhow. It also does not come with a shaft if you are a clubmaker. You can put any shaft you want in the driver head. Have you not seen what real customization is all about? It doesn't happen in any OEMs, that's for sure. I can make THAT driver outperform anything TM can make for off the rack consumption. I fit people and install very expensive shafts, far better than come with RBZ clubs. Those OEM shafts are the cheap ass shafts here, not the ones a clubmaker would install. The clubs I make are suitable for pros to play. With OEMs, you are paying a markup for the brand name, not necessarily equipment that will actually help your game.IMHO that driver is a terrible knock off that probably has a terrible knockoff shaft and performs nothing like the real thing. For starters it sure doesn't look adjustable at all and I think they stole one of my kids pieces of artwork for the "graphics" on top.
Why can't they have original ideas that are cheap?
So why bother with a knockoff because of price if you're just going to install an expensive shaft in it to make it perform? It would seem that the only reason a person would by a clone is to save money. So are you saying that a clubmaker could not custom fit me without using a tacky ass knockoff? I just don't get the obsession with the knockoffs. Are they not all about saving money? I also don't get why you keep telling me that you're a clubmaker.... my opinion has absolutely nothing at all to do with custom or not. Or fitting. I simply don't see the advantage of knockoffs when you could buy or even custom build a club with brand name parts for pretty cheap. You don't have to buy an OEM club standard off the rack... you can buy seperate heads and shafts and use them to build a club too. I'm talking product not process. It is adjustable. Diamond Tour Golf does not produce "tacky ass knockoffs" (except in your opinion). These heads are all made at the same foundries that make the OEM clubs over in China. Same ones. They have to change certain features due to trade dress laws, and the fact is that they have their own proprietary technology in each design, whether it is comparable to a brand name club or not. The driver that you are disparaging has its own technology that was developed specifically for Diamond Tour Golf. I also defy you to get an OEM brand name clubhead directly from the manufacturer. TaylorMade, PING, Nike, Cobra, Cleveland, etc., are not in the component business, and will not sell you a separated clubhead. You have to buy what they have (at whatever price you can get it for) and then begin your customization from that point. Most OEMs do not offer many shaft upgrade choices, usually no more than 3, when there are thousands of shaft varieties on the market that are superior to what they offer. So basically you would pay double for the club overall. Once for the club they sell, then the new shaft and grip that you really want in it. It is usually, unless you're a rich guy, very cost prohibitive to go this route. So why bother with a knockoff because of price if you're just going to install an expensive shaft in it to make it perform?
