what did you shoot today?

When they roll under a pile of leaves it doesn't matter what color they are. :(
This time of year on our course we dig out the Top Flites, MOJO's, Molitors... anything that we won't mind being left behind. Some years ago, we had a retired County worker who ran the blower/mulcher all day long keeping fairways pretty clear of leaves. He died!! Now, they say there is nothing can be done. So... you can lose balls dead center in the fairway. But, you find balls dead center in the fairway left from the day before as leaves have moved overnight.

It's about the same temperature in South Dakota, today, as in Orlando. Yet, some people go all the way to Florida to hit balls in the water. Unbelievable!!!!!!!!! :D
Yes, but it will still be warm here for the next 4 months........South Dakota?????

Opposite of Greg. One of the worst rounds of the year. 43/46 - 89!! Couldn't blame it on anything in particular. Good drive... couldn't hit the second shot. Bad drive... second shot bailed me out. Greenside with good chip... missed short putts. On the green... 3-jack.
Tomorrow is another day.......

What a difference a week makes. Someone just turned the Winter button on this week. We played today in 25mph winds from the North. Some rain and hail showers mixed in. Very cold and bitter out on the links. I fell from grace, a winner last week (prize of 1 x Turkey and ~$50) to a sad shadowy figure today. But I hit some good drives which I was pleased about, some decent putting too. We walked in after 16 holes. Can't win every week.

That was my problem today. Too many "drivels"!!!!!:D

He's means with his driver, not his oatmeal, old man.
If'n I didn't 'drivel' when I's eatin', they wouldn't be no laundry fer the washer machine to do. Ain't got needs to change underwear... even when I's do wears it. Toenail fungus eats the toes outta my socks afore they needs washin'. Jeans easier to slip in and outta when the legs get stiffer longer I ain't washin' them. So's if'n the oatmeal drivels down the front a my wife-beater shirt, they's a reason to do some Maytaggin'. Course, when it leaks through to the chest hair, stuff sets up like concrete an' pulls like heck tryin' to get the comb through.
