When asked if her advice to Ko would be to stay amateur for a while longer and enjoy the game, Webb replied: "No, that's not my advice to her.

"Obviously she's proven that she's ready to play professional golf."
Ko, who briefly held the record as the youngest person to win a professional event after winning the NSW Women's Open last year, won the 2012 U.S. Women's Amateur and finished as the low amateur in the U.S. Women's Open in the same year. She has also recorded several victories in her native New Zealand. She has forfeited almost $500,000 in winning to keep her amateur status.

How about we let her grow up first? People need to remember that Lydia is still just a kid. How about instead of being in such a hurry for her to grow up, we all just let her be a kid, finish high school and go to college (if thats what she wants to do).
If Ms. Ko is for real, she will still be great even when she is in her 20s.

... and co-leader of the Ladies Australian Open after the third round at 17 under.

Just saw her say that her plans are to go to Stanford.

Nothing exciting happened in the final round today. Jiyi Shin was pathetically slow & was warned a couple of times. Lydia Koh shot an over par round to finish 3rd.
