See, those aren't much of upsets. Edmonton played Detroit tough this season, and always seems to. They match up pretty evenly. Detroit plays in a super weak division and just racks up points against weak teams, while playing tougher teams more laterally.

And the Habs have nothing to lose at this point, Carolina is not that good. I have no idea how Gerber shut out the Canadians at the Olympics tho....just makes zero sense...

Excited for the game tonight. Ottawa and Buffalo certainly have a history in the playoffs. When is Hasek coming back? He's been practicing for over a month now.

Even still, I don't see any reason to start Hasek with Emery in there. Not that he's a savior, but he's probably more of a safe bet than a rushed back into health/hasn't played for months Hasek.

My guess? Hasek is done in Ottawa.

Prediction: 5-2 Buffalo. Miller is the first star.

Just got back from Ireland and there is not a sniff of NHL Playoff coverage in Ireland or the UK. Serious withdrawl.

Anyway, I see my Habs got eliminated.
