Wife's Xmas party tonight. Had a great meal. Drank for free and got laid. Merry Xmas everyone!!!

Going to be a tough week for an old man. Leave early tomorrow for South Dakota. 5 1/2 hours on the road. Work up there tomorrow, Tuesday, and most of Wednesday. Drive 5 1/2 hours back home late Wednesday. Supposed to be snowing here Wednesday so will drive back in questionable weather. Toss wife in the car early Thursday morning and drive 9 1/2 hours to Ft. Campbell. Spend Friday and part of Saturday there. Drive back as far as St. Louis Saturday afternoon/evening. From St. Louis to home on Sunday. Back to South Dakota on Monday. Lots of windshield time for an old butt and old bladder.

Son had made promotion list. When home for Thanksgiving, hoped to get promoted sometime in 2017. Last promotion, his wife "pinned" the new stripes on. His wife has suggested whenever this next promotion came up, she would like his Mother to do the pinning. When they returned to Ft. Campbell after Thanksgiving, he was notified the promotion came through early. He advanced to the new rank on 12/1. The pinning ceremony is next Friday and that's why we're headed that way.
