You know, growing up in AZ I remember icicles hanging off my roof in the winter, 90 degree summers, and not a single haboob. By the time I left - 30 years later - I hadn't seen icicles in years, summer temps were always over 100 and haboobs run amok.

I've been a bit busy over the past few weeks. Here are some highlights:

• My mother had a heart attack, thanskfully she is fine and now carries stints! But needed to spend some time with my dad while she was in hospital.
• We took our eldest son to college in Glasgow, Scotland. The wife went through about x3 boxes of Kleenex. Lots of tears as her "wee boy" left the ranch.
• Three business trips to UK and Ireland.

Not much time for golf, ST or anything else for that matter. Hopefully, things quieten down over the next few weeks. I'm exhausted.

Glad your mother is doing fine. We are so blessed, today, with the miracles of modern medical technology.

Hand your wife as many boxes of Kleenex she needs! Kids grow up entirely too fast. That's life. Hope he gets a good education and career so he'll be able to change your Depends.

I took two Aspirin....
I took two Viagra.... (Didn't roll out of bed!)
I think it's the "brand name" and we don't make it plural.

Most everything else...
I took two potato(s).
I took two fork(s).
I took two Chevrolet(s).
I took two Big Mac(s).
I took two Snicker(s).

No idea why it seems specific to medication. Surely, there are other items we keep singular when we use them in the plural tense.
