Before I got my new clubs, I was hitting my 3 and 4irons pretty well, surprisingly. I felt really comfortable with them, but the clubs I was using were 20 years old. My new set had replaced the 3i and 4i with 3i and 4i hybrids. I've never hit a hybrid before I got these. What should I be swinging these like? If I swing like i would with the old irons, I fail miserably and end up hitting the mud skippers.

Back when Sonartec had a website they had a great video on how to hit a hybrid. Swing 'em like you would your 5 iron; just forward of center and with a decending blow.

Keep in mind that your old 3 and 4 iron are more than likely the loft equivalent of your new 5 and 6 so you may need to make some adjustments...

Don't try to sweep them as you would with a fairway wood, decending blow is the secret. :)

I read on Cobras site I think they should be hit as a 5 iron but the key is a nice, solid blow to the ball.
