Amateurs like us lose more strikes than we gain with a 60* club!!I'm moving my 60 deg wedge. I really like to just lay back my 56 to my desired loft. How many of you guys actually carry a 60 in your bag? I can't get used to such a high lofted club.
Totally disagree. Maybe there is not a shot that YOU can hit with a 60 that YOU can't hit with a 56, but I certainly can. Besides the loft difference most 60's have a bounce around 7* or 8* where most 56's have a bounce more around 11* or 12*. For me anyways it's a different shot maker all together. There is no shot that you can hit with a 60* wedge that you can't hit with a 56* wedge.
True, I use low bounce wedges, gives me more versatility with the wedge.Totally disagree. Maybe there is not a shot that YOU can hit with a 60 that YOU can't hit with a 56, but I certainly can. Hmmmmmmm... Yes, somewhere on almost any wedge you'll be able to find another number most likely between 6 and 14. That number represents the degrees of bounce the sole of your wedge has.Bounce degree? This is new to me.... I've never heard that before.
