How Far Do You Hit The Ball?

Gaz by the sounds of it you dont have the swing speed to hit a 3 iron, you should try a hybrid your likly to hit it much further.

Is that with your driver?? I average over 100mph with my driver and still have a hybrid in my bag.

Those are my distances in normal conditions for a well-struck shot. Do I always hit it 275 with my driver? Hell no. I can drop kick it 230 just as easily as belt it 300 - consistency is a big issue for me off the tee.

So should I only calculate the "forward" distance? Or does the distance after the sharp right or left turn count as well?

54* and 60* never a full shot. anything w/in 80yds i'll use them depending on situation.
also, my 3i has loft of 23* which is usually 4i on most clubs.

That is conservative compared to driver potential. I've seen you hit 25yds. past that easy a few times.

Take his and replace the 4iron with my 5iron, on down the line and that's mine. My 105g shafts and stronger lofts make a difference.

Twofast drives a solid 10yds. past me so I guess if he's saying 260 I gotta go 250. lol.

Alrighty, now we're getting some real internet yardages! 5 irons must go at least 200 yards, uphill and into the wind.

You guys are disappointing me with your driver yardages, though. I thought all modern drivers came with a 300 yard minimum guarantee.
